Damage

Melee

Melee damage is the damage done to the target in direct combat. You must be standing directly next to the target and attack them to deal melee damage.

Thrown

Thrown damage is the damage dealt to the target when a thrown item strikes them. Most weapons tend to deal very little thrown damage, with the exception of specific items, such as daggers and knives. As items may have additional thrown properties, such as potions that explode on contact.
