Intrinsic Purpose

Causes the affected creature to have at least noise level 3 ("noisy"). This will alert other creatures to its presence, and (for the avatar) annoy Quizar.

Gaining the Intrinsic

Can be gained by wearing a pair of Squeaky Shoes, or from an artifact. Note that a good deal of other equipment (especially heavy armour) can make noise, even without this intrinsic. Some creatures are always noisy, but generally don't have the intrinsic listed.
