Tips and Tricks
- A good starting deity, and compatible with most other deities. For those seeking magical advancement, Quizar is often available when Belweir isn't, much less Pax.
- Heavy armor and weapons will anger Quizar over time, but a little moderation goes a long way. In practice, chainmail and one-handed weapons (or even spears) seem fairly acceptable.
- A wand of trapping is a very good way of gaining piety from Quizar, you can gain 12 piety per charge (2 from zapping the wand, 5 for making the trap, and another 5 for finding it).
- Alas, Use of "Create Pit" apparently doesn't count as "creating a trap".
- Collect as many different items as you can, even if you do not plan to use them. That way, when you use your first ID scroll more items will be IDed and you will gain more piety.
- Searching, (skill or ring) may be helpful.
