Intrinsic Purpose

This particularly brutal intrinsic prevents the character from regenerating health over time. Not only that, it counters any item-granted form of the Regeneration intrinsic. This means that the Ring of Regeneration has no effect. However, temporary sources will work, such as the Regenerate spell. Similarly, a monster which also has natural Regeneration will continue to regenerate.

Gaining the Intrinsic

This intrinsic can be gained through an artifact, or by polymorphing into an elemental or golem. The effects of starvation include a similar effect.
