Amulet of life saving

This amulet grants the intrinsic Life Saved, which amounts to an "extra life" for the wearer. When the wearer reaches 0 or less hit points, they are immediately restored to full health, but the amulet itself is destroyed in the process. The resurrection will fail for any undead, notably Lich or Ghast characters. ("You have no life to save!") If the wearer has been polymorphed, this amulet will take effect before and instead of returning them to their original form when they are reduced to less than 0 hit points.

The amulet will not protect a creature from the Ghastify spell.

This amulet will also protect the wearer (once) from being turned to stone.

Unfortunately, some monsters will put on an amulet. You can look at a creature to see what it is wearing and Possess the creature to save the amulet. This is most likely to occur with the various Kobolds in their lairs.
