Books
Books are a special type of item that allows the reader to learn certain skills or spells, as long as they have free skill or spell slots. All books have a number of 'charges', which determines how many skills and spells you can learn from it before it fades away. All books are created with 2d3 charges. They can be recharged by dipping them into Mana Potions.
Each book has a base form and a magical book type. These are randomly paired up with one another at the start of a game. All item related statistics of books, such as materials, are part of the base form, and are listed under that book's base entry. If the book's base form is "Bloody Book", then it can be eaten to temporarily learn all the spells or skills it contains. This section lists the different types of magical books.
