Discussion
The Tome of Earth leans more toward utility and support spells than straight-up attack. However, Animated Trees should not be underestimated, and Rolling Boulder can combine nicely with Create Pit (an Earth Elemental will do this to you). Entomb is great for making your own vaults/sanctuaries, and Down Pour can provide those with their own little lake for holy water breeding. Petrify has some non-obvious uses, and Stone to Flesh translates to "unlimited food".
