Tips and Strategies
The bite isn't so bad, averaging 2d3 poison damage over several turns. But eating the corpse will poison you for a long time -- 100+d100 turns, averaging 1 point of damage per round! This is believed to be a glitch. (NOTE: As of version 115, fixed to 5d5 rounds.)
