The triceratops is a long extinct animal. As such, what we know about it comes from the occasional fossilized bones. The size and strength of these bones suggests a powerful creature. No doubt it also had a cruel and barbaric demeanour - living, as it did, in the pre-civilised jungles of antiquity.
In summary: if you should see such a beast, make sure you attack first! And do try to preseve the corpse as the scientific community will appreciate the research material.
