Purple Tridude

Encyclopedia
If Wpark the Wonderful had encountered the purple tridude he likely would have dropped his studies on kobolds entirely. Not only are they a more pleasing shade of lavender, but the glint of the three eyes shows considerable intelligence.
Do not let the three stubby legs fool you - the purple tridude is an avid tool user who has also mastered control of the forces that hold the universe together.

Tips and Strategies
These creatures are some of the rarest in the game, usually appearing only within the Tridude dimension. They do however appear in one of the randomly generated pre-defined rooms. Because they have Physical Immunity, as well as a handful of nasty spells, they are a very dangerous bunch. Note that only one in 5 "regular" Purple Tridudes has enough mana to cast Disintegrate, but their unique leader always does.
The obvious solution to dealing with them, of course, is to use spells, wands or weapons that deal elemental damage.
For those brave enough to try, Ghastifying a Purple Tridude (and especially their unique leader) can grant you a very powerful ally, or even a new body. Since ghasts gain full humanoid slots, outfit it with resistance Rings, Fur-Lined Boots and an Amulet of Reflection for best results. Note that having Physical Immunity will make a creature immune to suffocation damage (such as from being Submerged or Strangled), most poison (as most attacks that inflict poison must first do normal damage--which is ignored), and from being turned to stone by a Cockatrice.
