Tips and Strategies
Their speed makes them deadly at low to medium levels. Speed Boots are almost mandatory, and it's better to also have Quickness, by use of a Wand of Speed, Lightning Rapier, or eating any bat corpse. Alternatively, you can try to slow them down a bit with a Wand of Slowness, an Ice Mace, or the Chilling Touch spell.
- As of Powder 115, vampire bats will not follow you if you are "bloodless".
- It is likely that the first Vampire Bat you find will be the unique one in a Forest Maze. Avoid this guy at all costs!
